Getting involved
If you want to get involved and help out here at Haircuts for Us there are many opportunities. You can reach out to a staff member with a donation opportunity. An individual could become a member of the team, allowing them many great options. They would be able to certify more business, be in direct communication about expiation and have access to the brand.
The future
We hope to continue to expand into many different cities across the country. We are also interested in expanding our ideas into other jobs. Such as doctors, babysitters, and food services. This brand has only just begun.
The founding and our connection
The founding of this not-for-profit organization is great. We started in a classroom as an idea, then it picked up steam. We soon realized that this was far better than we thought and that there was a great market for this service. Our founder Jack Verwiel has a special connection with those in the special needs community. With a close family friend fitting this description this service made a lot of sense.
